Happy 2014!

As Anna said, we had a cozy meeting yesterday. Seven intrepid quilters braved the cold and wind to come to our first meeting of the year. We discussed our program for rest of the year, our up coming workshop with Elaine Quehl, Premie quilts, the CQQ show and workshops and our next show in May 2015.

Pina, one of our new members showed some folded fabrics that will be a Christmas tree.

Linda had a children's charity quilt top she had made for the Beaconsfield guild.  Great bright colours and fabrics.

Mary had a mug rug she made as a Christmas present for her husband, a Habs fan. The fabric came from Diane's stash at our crazy quilt hanky workshop.

Anna's show and tell was a quilting questionare. We all wish we had more time to quilt and could organize ourselves better. Mary T likes red, Pina green and blue, Anna is into orange, Linda like all colours and Mary, Cindy and Robyn like bright colours. Anna forgot to ask the last question so we never found out the answers to:  outside of quilting one wonderful thing about me is......... ?
