We had a memorable time last night at the Elizabeth House where we went to meet Linda Schachtler and other ladies of the staff. We handed over the 30+ baby quilts that we made during the year for them. The quilts were displayed on the chairs for everybody to see.Fifteen of us showed up, plus Jennifer from Artistri who gave two door prizes from her store. Pam and Mary T. were the lucky winners.
The highlight of the night was when the young mothers came down with their beautiful babies to choose a quilt. It was very touching to put a face to our work.
