TONIGHT'S TOPIC - SYMMETRY

Hi Fellow Quilters:

What an interesting mini-workshop this evening given by our ever entertaining, Allison.

But, before we get started on that - a bit of Show and Tell:

First off Linda, showing her fabulous fabric that was in her goodie bag, a gift from Loose Threads on Saturday!  Did she luck out, or what??!!?

This is her preemie quilt.

The next three quilts are all made by Jae.  I know she had one done by Saturday, 'cause she showed it to me, but the other two were probably done between Saturday and Tuesday as they're all backed with flannel fabric she scored at Int'l Quilt Day hosted by Loose Threads.

Speedy Jae doesn't like to be
photographed.  It's quite a challenge,
 but we'll see....

Next up is Mary's pillow made by Mary's
sister using her old, very old jeans.  Quite
a hipster, our Mary.

Next is Barbara with her 'scrap' quilts.  Boy, some people sure can produce!!

Now we come to Allison's really interested workshop on "Symmetry".  She had us all drawing and colouring and expanding our right brain, or is it left?  Anyway, everyone is deeply engrossed.

So engrossed, I finally got this shot.
Surprise, Jae!!!!
These are Allison's examples of symmetry.

Really amazing!!!  Who can believe anyone could keep that figured out!!!

And finally, Rita's start on a new quilt.
So, that's it for Tuesday, March 18th.  Next meeting - April 1st and France and myself will be giving mini-workshops on binding.  Good grief!!!  That's April Fools Day - not a good omen.  See you all then.
