It has been quite a while since anything was posted on our blog. That doesn't mean we haven't been quilting, just not blogging. We love retreats and so they are now three nights and twice a year. It is amazing what one can get done when all you need to do is quilt, eat and then a little sleep. We have our quilt show coming up in a month so there was lots of quilting to do.
This time we had extras at the retreat, sisters, mothers and friends so there was a lot of laughing, talking and exchanging ideas.
We were again at the Ermitage Ste. Croix and there was still snow on the ground and ice in the lake and a skunk wandering around. We were treated to three spectacular sunsets, each better than the one before.

Quilting is all about colour and Priscilla did an encore presentation of her colour value talk.

People listened intently |

Checked things on the internet |

And tried to put the colour papers in order of their value. We were not quite successful. |

Our show quilts are almost ready "Cool Colours" |

Joan's quilt will not be in the show this time. She says she will be finished hand quilting after three or four more retreats. |

Some conversations are very deep!

It's amazing the photo you can get with a phone balanced on a sewing machine. Most are even smiling. |
