It is almost time for our Quilt Show!
West End Quilters are having a Quilt Show. We have been cutting, pressing and stitching for three years and in just a month it will be time to see what we have been making.
Come and see us May 5th 10 am - 5 pm & May 6th 10 am - 3 pm
at St Ignatius of Loyola Church Hall
4455 West Broadway, Montreal
Admission is Free
Money raised will go to
Artistri Sud which empowers women around the world through entrepreneurship
and Women on the Rise which helps local mothers help themselves.
We will have two quilt shop vendors:
L'Artisane
Stylist et Complice
and
Valerie Gobeil - Fabric Jewellery Maker
and
Atelier Fibre Arts
We had a Paint Chip Challenge. We had to find paint colours that that began with the letters of our first and last names. We could then use one other colour. Everyone made a block of their choice using these colours. The squares were then made into a quilt. The quilt will be hanging in our show and then donated to Quilts of Valour which supports our injured Canadian Armed Forces members past and present with quilts of comfort
